This is a good scale for indoor and moderate to gentle use. The summing card is not waterproof, which is typical for this type of scale, the load cells are fine if you don't need them to perform beyond their original intent. If you will be using a floor scale for heavy use or where water is present, you should look at one of our more premium products. Otherwise, this has been a good performer at a very very low price.
